Background & Education

Jeremy Freedman, M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgeon. A native of Florida, he attended medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where his academic and clinical achievements earned him membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) national medical honor society. He also received recognition for his exceptionally kind and compassionate patient care by being elected to the distinguished Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS).

Dermatology Residency Training

Dr. Freedman received his specialty residency training in dermatology and cutaneous surgery at the New York University (NYU) Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology, where he had the opportunity to train and work with multiple leaders in the field of dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and dermatologic surgery.

Fellowship & Advanced Surgical Training

After completing residency, Dr. Freedman received advanced training in the surgical management of skin cancer through a rigorous American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) accredited Mohs, plastics, and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the world-renowned Tel Aviv Medical Center (TLVMC). There, Dr. Freedman performed and assisted in over 1,000 Mohs surgeries and countless other dermatologic surgeries and procedures.

Specializations

Dr. Freedman specializes in the detection and treatment of skin cancer and in the aesthetic reconstruction of complex surgical wounds, and he is excited to continue providing expert patient care.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Dr. Freedman enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children and large extended family. If he’s not in the office, you might find him traveling, reading a good book, playing fun board games, or performing amateur voice acting.
